PLEASE No smoking and No Pets at any time! This is the Condo Association Rules! There is a $100 per day fine for pets on the property. The condo will be clean when you arrive. Please leave things as you found them and notify us if anything gets broken or doesn't work.Arriving Guests
Welcome to Mammoth View Villa, Please download and read the Guests Guide to Mammoth. It will tell you everything you need to know about your stay. Thank you and enjoy your stay.Heating: Try to use the fireplace for heating during the winter months. This is the most efficient way to heat the condo. After the fire is good and hot close the fireplace door tight and push the lever at the bottom of the fireplace to the right. This will maximize the heat output. There is a fan that will come on once the temperature in the fireplace is hot enough this will heat the downstairs bedrooms from the fireplace. The fan comes on/off automatically according to the heat output of the fireplace. Please keep the fireplace door closed if you are not right by it. The ambers will burn if they fly out of the fireplace. Use the radiator heaters sparingly. Please turn them off during the day.
The Floors: The floors are very slippery when wet. If snow or water is on the floor please wipe the floors dry to prevent slipping or falling. There are rags in the closet by the front door for this purpose. Please do not wear your ski boots inside the condo because they are really slippery on these floors. I have Direct TV for television channels. If there is a problem getting reception, there is a white three ring binder on top of the TV cabinet with a customer service phone number on the inside pocket to call. They will reset the dish or whatever if the channels are not coming up
Recreation Room: There is a recreation room above the office with a Jacuzzi, bathroom, shower and Ping-Pong table. Ping pong paddles and balls are hanging in a bag downstairs; please return the bag after use. Please bring plastic cups if you bring drinks with you. The key is hanging near the Ping Pong equipment in the condo for the recreation room
Mammoth Information: There are lots of flyers in the office for things to do. There is a local paper, the Mammoth Times, which comes out on Thursdays.
The Slopes: There is a free shuttle during winter months to the slopes. We are on the blue line from Canyon lodge and the stop number is 57. The bus stop sign is located at the street just by where the driveway to the complex is. You can walk to the gondola at the Village as well. This is about a 5 to 10 minute walk down hill. The gondola is also free.

When you leave all guests are responsible for:
1) Filling and running the dishwasher.2) Emptying the Trash. The trash bins are located by the office.
3) Turn off all sink and shower faucets tight. Turn off all heaters except the radiator heater in the downstairs bathroom.
4) Winter months only, please leave one radiator heater on in the downstairs bathroom on the lowest setting upon departure. Leave the doors open under the sinks. This will keep the pipes from freezing.
5) Please bring in wood for our next guests. It is important that there is dry wood available when guests arrive.
6) Return the key to the lock box upon departure.
7) Don't dump the fire ashes outside, use the trash by the office if you need to. The cleaning service will do this.
The cleaning service does the rest of the cleaning.
